Welcome to Untangle

Thank you for choosing Untangle to help guide you through your divorce process. By using our service, you're taking an important step toward managing your divorce in a simpler, more supported way. This agreement outlines what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.

By clicking "accept" or by using our services, you agree to these terms and confirm that you're at least 18 years old. If these conditions don't apply to you, our services aren't available for your use.

Our service

Untangle Us, Inc. is not a law firm. We provide technology-enabled self-help services to assist you with divorce-related documents and guidance. Our services do not create an attorney-client relationship and are not a substitute for the advice of an attorney.

No government agency has reviewed or approved our services, experience, or qualifications. You may be eligible for free or low-cost legal services through your local bar association or legal aid foundation.

Untangle service payment

Our Untangle service is available for a one-time payment of $299 and provides you with access to our divorce planning tools, document preparation assistance, and guidance resources. This payment gives you lifetime access to complete your Connecticut divorce case.

Once purchased, you'll have full access to all features needed to complete your divorce process. We encourage you to download any documents or information you wish to keep for your records.

Refund policy

If you're not satisfied with Untangle, you may request a refund within 7 days of your initial purchase. After this period, we don't offer refunds, as you'll have received lifetime access to our divorce completion platform.

For any additional services purchased separately, specific refund terms will be provided at the time of purchase.

Our resources and limitations

The resources we provide—including downloadable materials, calculators, articles, and other content—are for general information only and don't constitute legal advice. While we regularly review our content, it may not reflect the most recent legal changes in your state.

Divorce laws vary by state and can be interpreted differently across courts. We strive for accuracy but can't guarantee outcomes. For legal advice or assistance with complex situations, we recommend consulting with a qualified attorney.

Privacy and communication

The information you share with us is protected according to our Privacy Policy. However, communications between you and Untangle are not covered by attorney-client or work product privileges.

We may send you important updates about your account, service changes, or helpful resources via email. You can manage your communication preferences in your account settings.

Limitation of liability

Untangle is not responsible for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages that might arise from your use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the three months prior to any claim.

Dispute resolution

If you have concerns about our service, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue together. If we can't reach a solution informally, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in New York, New York, according to the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

By using our services, you agree to waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits against us.
