Untangle Us, Inc. is a Delaware corporation that provides technology-enabled self-help services to assist you with divorce-related documents and guidance. We are not a law firm, do not provide legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created by your use of our Services. Our Services are designed for individuals representing themselves ("pro se") in legal matters.

No government agency has reviewed or approved our services, experience, or qualifications. You may be eligible for free or low-cost legal services through your local bar association or legal aid foundation.

Important: Portions of our Services use artificial intelligence and machine-learning models that may generate content automatically. AI outputs can contain errors, omissions, hallucinations, or outdated legal information. AI-generated guidance may not be appropriate for your specific circumstances.AI content does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied on as such. AI models are probabilistic and may generate fictitious case citations or statutes.

You acknowledge and agree that you will independently verify all AI-generated content before relying on it for any legal, financial, or personal decisions. You assume all risk for decisions based on AI guidance provided through our Services. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified attorney for legal advice tailored to your specific situation.

Our Services include divorce planning tools, document preparation assistance, and guidance resources. They are intended for informational and organizational purposes only. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any documents you prepare or submit meet applicable legal requirements. The Services are offered on a subscription basis for $29.99 per month with a 7-day free trial. By subscribing, you agree to pay the monthly subscription fee until you cancel your subscription.

Free Trial: New users are eligible for a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and your payment method will be charged monthly.

Billing: Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless you cancel. You can manage your subscription and cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

Untangle provides tools and guidance intended to assist with the preparation of divorce documents and related planning. We do not guarantee that use of the Services will produce any particular legal, financial, or personal result, including but not limited to the granting of a divorce, approval of court documents, or favorable legal outcomes. Courts and other authorities retain sole discretion over legal proceedings, and outcomes may vary.

Divorce laws vary by state and can be interpreted differently across courts. We strive for accuracy but can't guarantee outcomes. For legal advice or assistance with complex situations, we recommend consulting with a qualified attorney.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNTANGLE US, INC. DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE ERROR-FREE, TIMELY, RELIABLE, OR MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS OR LEGAL NEEDS. ANY RELIANCE ON THE SERVICES IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL UNTANGLE US, INC., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF PARENTAL RIGHTS, CUSTODY ARRANGEMENTS, SPOUSAL SUPPORT OUTCOMES, OR OTHER FAMILY-LAW-SPECIFIC DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO UNTANGLE US, INC. FOR THE SERVICES DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Untangle Us, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

• your access to or use of the Services;
• your violation of these Terms;
• your violation of any applicable law or regulation;
• your reliance on the Services in making legal, financial, or personal decisions;
• any claim alleging unauthorized practice of law arising from your use of the Services; or
• any data misuse or privacy violations arising from AI processing of your information.

If you have concerns about our service, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue together. If we can't reach a solution informally, any dispute arising under or related to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Consumer Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator shall have exclusive authority to resolve any dispute relating to the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, or formation of this arbitration agreement, including any claim that all or part of it is void or voidable.

Arbitration will be conducted in Connecticut or via videoconference at your option. By using our services, you agree to waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits against us and agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.

Any cause of action or claim you may have arising out of or relating to the Services must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action accrues; otherwise, such claim or cause of action is permanently barred.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Because the Services are currently offered in Connecticut, you acknowledge that Connecticut law may also apply to certain consumer protection and regulatory matters.

We may update, modify, or discontinue the Services at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms by posting an updated version on our website. Your continued use of the Services after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The AI-specific disclaimers and liability limitations in these Terms are intended to survive any invalidation of other provisions.
